Polyester ( PES ), polyamide ( PA ) and Polypropylene ( PP )
This are just few of the most often types of plastic materials. Plastic is common name for synthetic and half synthetic materials, which are obtained by polymerization of organic carbon compounds.
We know polyamide under the name NYLON, which is manufactured primarily from women pantyhose. Nylon is a thermoplastic material, poorly absorbs moisture, but dries quickly, is sensitive to high temperatures and doesn't crease.
-
Cordura nylon: Cordura is Invista brand name. Cordura is known by its durability, is resistant to abrasion and other damages and that’s why we use it for sports and travel products.
-
Oxford nylon: is double stitching and rough nylon. Oxford nylon is very durable and is use for baseball and athletics clothes or equipment.
Polyester is mostly use in textile industry for textile fibers. Polyamide and polyester have a highest strength of all fibers, their fibers have very high shine, that why such fabrics glow. Polyester dries very quickly, is resistant to biological damages, it is very elastic, does not shrink, is suitable for textile products which are in contact with skin, but we have to be careful, because polyester is very flammable material.
RECYCLED POLYESTER is made from waste plastic bottles.
Polypropylene is thermoplastic pitch and is one of the easiest thermoplastics. Polypropylene is very high temperature resistant. Polypropylene is very good insulator and drains moisture, so that’s why our skin remains dry. Polypropylene provides a positive relationship between temperature and relative humidity in the most extreme conditions and is therefore suitable for major sporting endeavors.
